FOOD VALUES
For  years, many of us concerned about food security, have been urging  everyone to buy from farmers as a first choice where possible and  support them when ever you can. Goes without saying it's farmers using  sustainable, ethical, preferably regenerative, farming practices...
Besides  the benefits to the health of ourselves, animals and the planet, doing  so would help ensure that we continued to have Australian grown food and  not be dependent on other countries, especially if SOMETHING should  happen that prevented us from importing food...
Well SOMETHING has happened folks!
This is now where the rubber meets the road. 
With  many countries having closed their borders and regardless of if  Australia closes ours, we are almost completely dependent on farmers now  for our food.
Currently restrictions allow us to shop at  supermarkets or farmers markets keeping 'physical distancing' in mind.  My choice is an open, outdoor farmers market than a contained  supermarket, so our local farmers market is where I'll be this weekend  buying my meat and a whole lot of duck from Tathra Place Free Range my veg from Rita's Farm and my dairy from Country Valley and Pepe Saya
